This Zari check patterned Venkatagiri Silk Magenta Saree is featured with floral and diamond shaped Zari Butta designs all over the body. The saree has a silver Zari woven olive green colour border with temple, floral, ‘Mayil’ and ‘Mandala’ patterns along with light olive green colour edging. The pallu is enriched with scalloped floral and ‘Maanga’ motifs in silver Zari weaves. The weavers predominantly used traditional motifs to convey multivalent significance and symbolism. This beautiful traditional textile is woven with locally made indigenous tools and simple pit rooms.
